PRODUCT DEFINITION:
SALKIT is a new chemical decontaminating-conservant with powerful microbicide and
fungicide action for raw materials and animal feed
The product has two presentations: liquid and powder.

COMPOSITION:
Propionic acid, 200 g, Acetic acid, 50 g, Citric acid, 10 g, Glicerol, 95 g, Ascorbic Acid,
30 g, Amonium propionate, 100 g, excipient, q.s. 1 Kg.

SALKIT compossition is based in three groups of compounds:
– Organic acids and its salts.
– Synergetic Compound (obtained through a carefully studied reaction where the main
agent is Vitiamin C (L. Ascorbic Acid).
– Support: carrier has been selected in order to grant maximum efficiency.

INDICATIONS:
SALKIT has a multiple control action, on one side against sporulated agents (anaerobes
and fungus) and, on the other side it works as a chemical decontaminating of
antericbacteries, specially powerfull against Coliforms, Enterococos, E.Coli and
Salmonella.

DOSAGE AND USE:
The dosage of the product will depend on the specific needs of each case. for instance, in
the case of vegetal or animal meals (with high protein content) a higher dosage will be
needed than in the case of feed. At the same time, the preventive use will be less
demanding than the use against known contamination.
As a general guide between 0.5 kg. and 2 kg./MT.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Fine clear powder with light yellow colour.

STABILITY:
One year from the manufacturing date.

PACKING:
In aluminium hermetic bags of 25 kg.
